Fans of The Real Housewives franchises will soon be able to see their favorite ladies in a new spinoff at Peacock. An All-Stars edition of the popular Bravo series is being developed for the streaming service. Although details are scarce about when and where the show will be filmed, there are rumors about which housewives will embark on this experience.
When is ‘The Real Housewives: All-Stars’ premiering?
The Real Housewives franchise started back in 2006 with the show set in Orange County. Since then, spinoffs of the format have filmed in New York City, New Jersey, D.C., Beverly Hills, Dallas, Atlanta, Potomac, Miami, and most recently in Salt Lake City.
As NBC Universal looks to expand on some of their existing properties for the Peacock streaming service, they are looking in Bravo’s direction to extend the franchises. It was recently announced that a reboot of The Real Housewives of Miami was on its way and now there are talks for an All-Stars edition.
“Some women were contacted in late 2019/early 2020 to test the temperature on the idea, which would see cast members — potentially both past and present — from various cities take a trip together,” Entertainment Tonight reports.
The report is scarce on details about which housewives have been contacted to appear in the spinoff. There are talks the show would bring in housewives from different cities for a vacation getaway.
“The trips are always the most memorable part of any season of Housewives, so it makes total sense they’d want to do this,” the ET source added. “If the women want to do it is another question.”
‘The Real Housewives: All-Stars’ Rumors
As the project has not been officially confirmed by Peacock yet, the rumors around the show have been wild. Naturally, fans of The Real Housewives want to know which of their icons will be cast in the spinoff. A former TMZ producer, who is followed by many of the Bravo stars, recently spilled the tea on what they allegedly know about the show.
“I’m told the Housewives spinoff will likely film for 1 week in April,” he recently tweeted. “The location will be in Mexico or somewhere tropical. Potomac not expected due to filming overlap.”
The ladies of Potomac are currently filming their sixth season and would not be able to go on this first All-Stars edition, which has caused some drama among the housewives.
“Some housewives are upset because they want Bravo to take their time and let women out of filming their franchise seasons to film this show, but as of now, Bravo isn’t letting them,” Anthony Dominic tweeted.
The names that they have heard being considered to join the show are Cynthia Bailey (RHOA), Melissa Gorga (RHONJ), Kenya Moore (RHOA), Lisa Rinna (RHOBH), Ramona Singer (RHONY), Sonja Morgan (RHONY), and Teresa Giudice (RHONJ).
Dominic also says that they would like to cast 10 housewives of the All-Stars spinoff.
As Peacock is still developing the idea, the information about the project is scarce. In the coming weeks there should be more names and confirmation of The Real Housewives: All-Stars edition.
