The only way to watch theatrically released films at home is to either be a Hollywood insider or download it illegally from a website – until now.
Prima Cinema has created an elite club that turns your home theatre room into a personal cinema, with a sleek black box that allows you to rent movies that are only available in theaters - and sometimes before they are even released there.
Members pay a $35,000 fee for the hardware and then $500 for each rental, rising to $600 if you want 3-D.

WHAT IS PRIMA CINEMA?
Prima Cinema created an elite club that turns your home theater room into a personal AMC, with a sleek black box that allows you to rent movies that are only available in theaters.
Members pay a $35,000 fee for the hardware and then $500 for each rental -- $600 if you want 3-D.
Members have two categories to choose from 'Coming Soon' that shows the upcoming films with its release date, synopsis and trailer.
The system is assigned to one client before it even leaves the factory and their finger print is registered to it, which means they are the only one who can rent a movie.
Clients simply browse to the on-screen 'Now Showing' carousel, decide which film to watch, and swipe a fingerprint to securely purchase.
Films are purchased on a pay-per-view basis, but remain available for purchase for as long as the film remains available in public theaters.
'Before Prima Cinema, only invited Hollywood insiders were able to view theatrically released films at home,' the firm says.
'No longer. Prima Cinema is the first premium entertainment company that delivers Hollywood films directly to your private home theater.'
According to US Weekly the Kardashian-West's are among the firm's customers, having spent $35,000 on a special home theatre system that will allow them to watch movies at their home instead of going to the cinema.
The pair reportedly had Prima Cinema installed into their $23 million Hidden Hills, California.
The firm says it was set up to offer an alternative to cinema's for the wealthy who weren't insiders.
'That circuit is still a private affair, run by the studios,' Prima CEO Shawn Yeager told the New York Post.
'We're the only company in the world that offers exactly the same experience to anyone who can afford it.'
The company markets and sells the PRIMA Cinema movie player technology to exclusive clients across the United States, including Hollywood celebrities, directors and producers, sports franchise owners and pro-athletes, senior Wall Street and Silicon Valley executives, high-net worth entrepreneurs, senior Washington D.C. diplomats and serious home theater enthusiasts.
The firm enjoyed massive growth in 2015.
