North Texas was struck by powerful gales on Monday and a semi-truck was flipped over amid possible tornado winds, according to local media.
A semi-truck that was parked at the Love's Travel Stop in Midlothian, Texas, was blown onto its side by the winds, according to an NBC 5 report. Emergency services were able to free the driver and he isn't believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
Video footage of the overturned 18 wheeler has also been shared on social media in videos with other cars that were flipped over.
A highway in Lewisville, Texas, also saw some vehicles overturned due to the severe weather. There was also significant rain, which reduced visibility on roads.
Multiple areas in Texas were put on the National Weather Service's (NWS) tornado watch due to the extreme weather.
The counties of Dallas, Ellis, Hopkins, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, Rains, Rockwall and Van Zandt were all put on the tornado watch until 2 a.m. CDT on Tuesday.
A separate tornado watch is in effect until 4 a.m. CDT on Tuesday. The counties included are Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola, Red River, Rusk, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Upshur and Wood.
A flash flood warning was issued for Dallas County by the NWS in north central Texas until 2:45 a.m. due to the significant rain.
"At 11:42 p.m. CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Dallas county," the flash flood warning read.
"Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly."
The warning also asked drivers to avoid driving through flooded roads and highlighted that most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
"Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Dallas, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, Carrolton, Richardson, Rowlett, Desoto, Grapevine, Cedar Hill, Wylie, Coppell, Duncanville, Lancaster, Farmers Branch, Balch Springs, University Park, Sachse and Seagoville," the warning said.
Two weeks ago, Texas was struck by severe weather that saw tornadoes cause damage across the state.
A viral video showed one driver being caught in a twister that flipped his car over and spun it on its side. The truck eventually gets flipped back upright and the driver then continued to drive down the road.
It was one of many videos that showed citizens dealing with the powerful winds.

In the video, debris can be seen swirling around the tornado with some cars attempting to drive away from the area.
The person recording the video ushers people into the store as they stand in the Walmart doorway. The people in the video also spot a car that has been turned on its side in the distance and continue to shout at people to run.
